Kumba Ganda - 40th Birthday Special Orphanage Fundraiser

Today starts the countdown to my 40th birthday – 9th September. (1st August-9th September 2025 exactly 40 days). Many say turning 40 can be seen as a period of renewal and growth but to me, I believe this is a phase to strengthen my relationships and most importantly a time to give back. When I look back I have so much to be grateful for and thankful to God, but my greatest joy is putting smiles on faces irrespective of age, class or social status. This I have done in my little corner from paying school fees to university fees, to helping single mothers and families in need. The number 40 in the scriptures (Exodus 24:18; Matthew 4:2; Acts 1:3) is said to signify new growth, transformation and transition. So, as I transition to the next phase of my life, I have many projects lined up amongst which is fundraising for children in orphanages. Personally, I have a very strong relationship with children who are orphans, destitute, underprivileged or less fortunate because I can clearly relate to what it means to be in need. To be helped by people you don’t know, some you get to meet in life and some you never get to meet. 

With that in mind and to mark my 40th birthday celebrations, I want to kindly ask you to donate to our organization’s special fundraising drive, to put a smile on a face you will or will never get to meet by donating a minimum of $20.00 or more to this cause, as the Lord leads you to do; which is so precious to my heart. This is one of my ways of paying forward the kindness and love I had from people. This will be the greatest and most priceless 40th birthday gift you can give me. I encourage you as you donate to encourage a friend, a family member or a loved one to do the same.
